[SOLVED] Not working (for me)

Hi. I tried putting your script at the top and at the bottom of my list of installed scripts -- no change.

Here's a sample url I used: http://www.indeed.com/q-Federal-Reserve-Bank-of-New-York-jobs.html

Hello. Thanks for the info and the sample. All the jobs on your page are marked as "organic jobs" (not sponsored). It looks like the USA domain of Indeed does not have any sponsored jobs. Either that, or they are hidden as organic jobs. Or do I miss something?

Have a look at a typical UK result:

Then it's due to regional coding, because I went to the link and this is what it shows this... (btw, I'm logged into an Indeed account)

You were correct. If I use a proxy I get this (see picture). Unfortunately I cannot login via proxy to see if something changes. Could you attach the source code of your page?

Sure--here ya go.

(I made sure to turn off all scripts and adblocking before copying the source.)

Thanks! I had a look at the source and it is the same as for the european sites. I opened your file with Chrome and Firefox and both apply the coloring (see previous picture). The only possible explanation I have is that an extension or script removes or changes the style/color of the DIVs my script changes.

@lukie80 , I'm an idiot! Your script is working on my system! I think it has been all this time. The trouble is, the coloring is so faint, I can barely recognize it!

Probably due to the lighting/glare, or lack of, on my screen.

(The snapshot I sent above, I had turned off the scripts, including yours -- duh!!)

I'ld like to try out some different color combinations, to see what works best for me. Do you have any suggestions?

I understand. My PC has a good IPS screen, but my old T60 IBM/Lenovo Laptop has the worst screen ever constructed by mankind.
I'd suggest soft pastel colors which don't distract but allow to differentiate. You could just increase the saturation and reduce the brightness of the given colors.

Actually, I meant about the colors used in the script. You have a very soft red (rose?) and a soft blue. Any suggestions on codes for other color combos?

I usually tinker with codes using http://fizzylogic.com/users/bulbul/ColorSpecifier.html

I found this interactive online color picker: http://html-color-codes.info There you can select and paste color codes. Well my 2nd preference would be: #CCD0F2 and #F3CDF3 (more saturated magenta and light blue) or #BDF1C0 and #F1BDBD (light red and green). But it is personal preference I think.

I'm luv'ing the #BDF1C0 ('mint' green) and #F1BDBD ('raspberry' red) combo - they're more bold on my screen than the other lighter combos.

I'll stay with it for now, then might try some different colors later.

Thanks again!
