I'm taking some modifications from Sebaro, but not all. For example Dash support is not included as I still consider it buggy and you can not use it with video plugins (like vlc), which on my opinion is the main reason for using this script (html5 is supported by most sites directly, you wouldn't need this script). I know he was working on vlc support, but my latest status is, that it is still only working with WebM.
What exactly is it you are missing?
Well the current 2016.01.25 version of Sebaro's ViewTube supports both DASH AVC and DASH VP9 formats (such as 60fps 1080p) through the VLC plugin.
For reference, this is tested with Pale Moon 26 which doesn't support Media Source Extensions, so it requires something like ViewTube to even access the DASH formats. Also, if you manually downloaded a DASH AVC stream, Pale Moon cannot natively play it back.
