Point YouTube links to Invidious, Twitter to Nitter, Instagram to Bibliogram, Reddit to Teddit, Medium to Scribe
Sorry for the delay… A pull request for that was just opened against the source repo (thanks to ltGuillaume!) and merged, so rewriting reddit links should be possible starting with v1.5.0. That PR gave me another idea, so with v1.5.1 it's even possible to disable link rewrite for a service you don't want to be rewritten (by setting the corresponding instance to an empty string).
Hm, disabling/enabling thumbs should not be hard to implement either, based upon what's done to toggle Invidious proxy. I'm not a Reddit user, so I don't even know what to look for to tell if that works. But if someone wants to tackle that, be welcome to introduce a tedThumb variable and make a PR ;)
Nice, great news! I actually just found another frontend that may be more suited to this purpose at https://teddit.net/
Now look what is set as default (for new installs) since v1.5.0 :D But as usual, you can set the instance of your choice. If you updated from a previous version, you even have to set an instance once to activate the rewrite of Reddit links. It's only active by default for new users.
Just the thumbs option we decided to skip (after the details were clarified). Hope that's OK with you. And glad you like it that far!
