If you use AdBlockPlus, you can set this custom rules block:

||stripchat.com/*

hide:

###embed-parrot
###embed-embed-overlay

The first rule blocks the small bottom banner ad in the flash video, and the second rule hides the overlay advertisement dialog that appears covering the whole video. I cannot hide the small red cross close button of the bottom banner in flash, but it is a 13x13 image.

so xhamster hosts that crappy banner in stripchat.

isn't there a way to find out where that close button comes from
& to stop it even through a script ?

Ops, ||stripchat.com/* will block the entire website, it is better to use a less restrictive rule:

||stripchat.com/cdn/*

With this edited rule, you can still visit the site http://stripchat.com

so xhamster hosts that crappy banner in stripchat. This is a campaign advertisement. Next month/week/days maybe would be for another site.

I don't know how to hide the close button. I don't know where it comes from. Maybe it is an internal flash resource. I don't know.

"stripchat" CDN was moved to "stripcdn".

If you use AdBlockPlus, you may be interested in their Element Hiding Helper.
