AO3 FicTracker

Enhances the AO3 experience by allowing users to track their favorite, finished, and to-read fanfics. The tracking data is stored as bookmark tags, ensuring sync with the user's AO3 profile across devices, making it resilient to cache clearing. Custom to-read tag enables users to filter and search through their tracked fanfics. Tracked works are highlighted on search and listing pages, making them easy to spot. All options are fully customizable through UI on the preferences page

I am SO excited for this!! However, I installed the script but don't see any of the things it's supposed to add to Ao3? No settings pane in preferences, no additions to the dropdown for finished/favorite/to read/etc, no options on a fic page. Am I missing something?

Hey there! That's strange, I've tested on most browsers before the release. Don't worry, we gonna figure it out and I'll patch it asap. Going to send you a guide in PM on how to view script logs so we can identify the bug

Found a script-breaking bug, the patched version has arrived - please reinstall the script

Ahh thank you so much for patching so fast! So, now I have the settings panel in my preferences, and the options for "my finished fanfics" etc in the dropdown, but I'm still not seeing the buttons on the works page to favorite/mark as finished/etc?

Yay, now that's interesting 🧐
Could you please provide an example of a work page url you tried opening?
Also, which skin do you use?

I've tried multiple works and it's not showing on any. Here's an example: https://archiveofourown.org/works/6447187

I'm using Reversi with some custom CSS, but I also tried switching to the Ao3 Default skin and it didn't make a difference.

this is really cool!! i've been having some problems tho, sometimes the buttons show up on a fic and sometimes they don't 😭 i do use a custom skin but i inspected the elements and the buttons just don't appear at all so i don't think that's the problem?
it'd also be helpful to have them at the bottom too so we don't have to go to the top, just a suggestion ^^
ty for your work :D

Hello
Regarding the buttons' appearance at the bottom, do you want them duplicated or completely moved down? I will definitely work on this in the next patch.

As for the fact that the buttons don't always appear, it's possible that I missed some variants of fics URLs. Could you provide examples of links where the buttons don't appear?
